Last year I took my D80 and they didn't say anything about it. They just scan your ticket and tell you to keep it movin.

i always bring shit in my back pocket with a big shirt or sweatshirt on. they dont say shit.

and they usually check purses.

They pat you down at the 49er games. I don't know about cameras but I know they would let you in with as many brews as you can fit in your pockets. Too bad the other sport venues don't allow that.

I know from experience the security at MNF games seems to be a little more strict than at regular Sunday games the past 5-6 years... obviously it's gonna vary by location and venue, but if you wanna be absolutely safe I would be as careful as possible sneaking it in... wouldn't use a pocket at all unless its concealed heavily.

just go there and watch people who are going thru the gates infront of you. if you see them getting patted down and shit and dont think your going to get thru with it then go to another gate or go put the camera back in your car. try to go to a busy section so they would less likely pat people down cus the line would take forever to get thru. just be observant.

when sneaking shit in i look for the old asains or black guys cus they dont give a fuck bout patting you down.

... or just call ahead of time, ask about cameras, and if they say you can bring cameras but not camcorders, just stick it in a camera bag and carry it in casually... if they try to say somethin when you go in, play dumb and tell them it's just your still camera.... worst case scenario you'll have to take it to your car, or they take it away and you'll get it back after the game...
