God Thinks
Voltaire

God thinks all blacks are obsolete farm equipment
God thinks the Jews killed his son and must be punished
God thinks the white man is Satan
God, they know what God thinks

God thinks we should all convert to Judaism
God thinks we must all be Christians and
God thinks we should all embrace Islam
God thinks the only true religion is Hinduism

And I
I know what God thinks
God thinks you're a waste of flesh
God prefers an Atheist

God thinks all people like you are hateful
God thinks all people like you are an embarassment to creation
self-righteous, judgemental, first to throw the stone
and use His name for your own protection

God thinks the sun revolves around the Earth
God thinks there was something very wrong with Copernicus
God thinks abortion is murder and
God thinks everything that science gave us is wrong
God thinks women deserve it
God thinks AIDS is a form of punishment

I hate people who blame the Devil for their own shortcomings and
I hate people who thank God when things go right

And I
I know what God thinks
God thinks you're an idiot
God prefers a heretic

God God
God thinks all people like you are hateful
God thinks all people like you are an embarassment to creation
self-righteous, judgemental, first to throw the stone
and using His name for your own agenda

God is a liberal
God is a democrat
God wants you to vote republican
never trust a man who puts his words in the mouth of god
and says it's absolute truth
its lies and it smells like death
its all in a day's work taking money from the poor
Why do you think that God would need your dirty money
if he wanted to start a holy war?

self-righteous, judgemental, first to throw the stone
and using His name for your own protection

God thinks puppies need to die and
God thinks babies need to drown
'cause God is neither good nor bad
God is you and me
God is Everything

my take is that its purely based on the writers perception and understanding of his beliefs.

belief sets perception.
even if one changes his beliefs, the prior beliefs continue to condition his next action.
look at thag for example, he has hate against god because he was born a christian and made to fear his whole life.
now that he left christianity, his perception lets him see "either one of the religions is the way, or none, being athiesm"

when in reality this thought is based on his conditioning that one of the many religions out there is the way.

the only way you move forward is if you understand that we all live, think, believe, and act according to our perception, and in our own eyes, we are all correct.

no one is to blame, we all want to succeed, and if heaven existed we all would choose heaven in an instant.
i can never believe in loving god who will force his creations to live a life of ignorance and suffering on earth, and then torture them an even worse suffering in an ETERNAL fire.

people need to look outside the box and realize that the truth can be ANYTHING. Dont let your previous beliefs, and current perception condition your next perspective, because if you want it or not, it WILL.

after reading my reply, go back and reread the lyrics and see how voltaire is only seeing things because of what he was taught to believe.
then maybe, all the siccness members on here will finally start to understand how important it is when i state that belief sets perception and we are all right in our own way with NOBODY AT FAULT.

I thought you had quotes from Voltaire. Turns out to be some kind of funk-metal band or something. Here's some actual Voltaire quotes.
****************************************************
I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: 'O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.' And God granted it.

If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him.

Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

Love truth, and pardon error.

It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.

God is a circle whose center is everywhere and circumference nowhere.

History is a pack of lies we play on the dead.

He also stated: "What is faith? Is it to believe that which is evident? No. It is perfectly evident to my mind that there exists a necessary, eternal, supreme, and intelligent being. This is no matter of faith, but of reason."

God is a circle whose center is everywhere and circumference nowhere
Voltaire didn't say that, it was Timaeus of Locris..
