Potatoes (George Foreman Grill) recipe
Posted by bettyboop at recipegoldmine.com 1/3/2002 8:40 am

Source: [email protected]

You can use any kind of potatoes but red potatoes come out delicious and are better for you (converted to sugar slower). Potatoes on the grill is the one recipe that is truly unique to the GFG and can't be duplicated cooking them any other way. They come out like a cross between potato chips and French fries.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into approximately 1/8 inch strips (You'll find your favorite thickness after you cook them a few times.)

Cover them with extra virgin olive oil or light olive oil.

Spread them across the grill and try not to overlap them too much. If you cut them a little thicker you'll fit more but you don't want to make 'em too thick. You can fit about 1 1/4 pounds on a family size grill.

Cook them for 27 to 30 minutes. Yes, that's a long time but they'll come out crispy moist that way

George Foreman Grilled Catfish Recipe

Ingredients:

lemon pepper
olive oil

Directions:

Heat grill for about 2 minutes. In a large bowl, place fillets and season with salt, and lemon pepper. Coat generously with olive oil. Sprinkle a bit more lemon pepper. Place on grill and let cook for about ten minutes. I usually grill about four fillets at a time on a family sized grill. I also tend to like my fillets cooked a little longer. Grilled Maple Bananas

I like these bananas for breakfast, just plain, or for dessert with a little ice cream on top. The bananas should be just ripe, but not soft. George Foreman’s recipe for bananas calls for slicing them in half lengthwise, but I like the results of the whole banana better.

For each serving allow:

1 banana, peeled

1 teaspoon soft butter

1 teaspoon maple syrup

Preheat the grill to medium. Lightly butter the banana and lay it crosswise on the grill. Drizzle on the maple syrup. Close the lid and cook until the bananas are soft. You may need to adjust the heat up or down to keep the syrup from burning. Serve hot.

ITS ALOT EASIER NOT HAVING TO CHECK THE FOOD EVERY 2 MINUTES WHEN IM PARTYING N SHIT. ITS BETTER WHEN I JUS PUT THE FOOD ON AND JUST TELL PEOPLE "WHEN U HEAR THE TIMER DING, THEN GO GRAB UR OWN SHIT, HERES PAPER PLATES". All the other ones don't have a nob. The settings are either on or off. I'd guess that for yours you'd go pretty close to high. But if I were you, I'd set it to middle and just cook it a bit longer if it doesn't look done.

I wish mine had a temp nob. Sometimes that shit over-does my chicken breast.

HAVING THE TEMP KNOB IS NICE TO HAVE WHEN IM COOKING DIFFERENT KINDS OF FOODS, PUTTING IT ON MEDIUM COOKS FOOD BETTER ON THE INSIDE
