Mayne...u should know how hard is to promote US indep scene in Europe...i've already tried to promote some artists (Mac & Ak ,Lil CS,San Quinn,Mac Dre,Komain,etc...)and i were very well connected with some famous stores like Virgin,FNAC,Multi-media...they didnt want to take any risk with unknow artists and even if they were OK to promote that shit (FNAC was cool with me...) they know that an import cd costs somethin like $25 (because of the french tax...+19.6%) french public is not ready to spend that much...regardin independant record stores which was very underground music oriented...they only were interested in New-York shit and vinyles.I dont know about magazines but...its hard to promote somethin u cant find in stores anyway...good luck for ur label tho,peace.
