before you use a proxy you should do an IP trace route on their asses....if it says it's in Japan.....make sure it actually goes to Japan.....anything traced to Washington, DC is a setup.....and I have found lots of them going to D.C.. If you only tryna re-register at a board you got banned from....any proxy will do.

i think its very hard to remain unseen like that. especially after all the research i did into mac addresses, there is also an id on certain other hardware parts in your pc as well, but most places dont really search for that because they can usually eliminate the average user on the mac address level.

Thanks for the info but I'm a bit confused, what do you mean by mac addresses? I use a PC. That fuckin sucks, never knew about any id on hardware.

a mac address is ebedded in your nic, so even if you change your ip changes your mac stays the same and if someone is looking for the mac address they can find it.

example

a website bans your ip

change your ip and you are all good most of the time

someone bans your ip and mac

changing ip isnt good enough because mac is banned so you either have to hope you have a nic that you can change the mac address (some do most dont i am told) or you have to get a new nic.

that is the only way i can find out about this.

why did i find out about this you ask? well torrent sites are starting to get anal about share ratio's meaning you have to share as much or more then you take. while i almost agree with this, i think that some of these sites need to be a little more lienient. if you have kids and one computer you cant leave HUGEBOOBEDGRANNYANALFUCKINGGANGBANG.avi uploading for 3 days while people with dial up connections are trying to get it as well. and people with dial up connections have a hard time sharing 4 gig dvd rips as fast as other people. and the torrent protocol was mean for P2P sharing without restrictions on download limits and all that other crap. just my 2 cents.
