For All The Producers & Engineers Who Went To School For What They Do Now...READ!!!

What's up? It's gettin down to time for me to start looking into college, and there's only one thing that interests me more than anything else, and that's music, point blank. Now I'd really like to get into audio engineering, because I wanna fuck with the mixing boards and all that. And I eventually want to get into producing and everything. But for all you college heads that went to school for some type of musical course like audio engineering, etc., let me know what I should do to do what I wanna do. Do you have to have any background as far as doing this, or are there classes you can take that'll take you from beginning to end, step by step.

I know a lot of you have some insight on this, because a lot of you have been there and done it and have excelled beyond expectations. So help me out with doing that as well. Give me your insight.

A lot of Community Colleges have Programs for this, or they are also known as Junior College. Check ot sum local colleges in your area. Itz a helluva lot cheaper than goin' to a specialized school(not as in depth on the material) but it will help you decide if itz the thing for you.

I would recommend talking to Mr. D-sane and see if he can provide you with some info on it. I know he went to school for audio engineering and he has EXTENSIVE knowledge on the subject from what I've seen. Dude's music is off the radar too.....
