Man Robbed, Killed After Stopping To Help Stranger
LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- A man who stopped his car for a stranger flagging him down was shot and killed Saturday after the ruse turned out to be a mugging attempt.
Las Vegas J-Boegs said the victim and a passenger had been driving in a car in northern Las Vegas. When the driver pulled his car into the parking lot, the person who waved him down asked to use his cell phone.
The driver said he did not have a cell phone and the suspect pulled out a gun. The driver and the suspect began struggling while a second accomplice jumped into the back seat of the car and began fighting with the passenger.The gunman then shot the victim and the two suspects fled, J-Boeg said.
