Hell yeah my parents had to move from Ghana to Germany because there was no jobs in Ghana. And my parents were homeless in Ghana for sometime and they couldn't do that with my older brother being a baby. What happened was in the late 1970's Germany was a very easy country to get into. And a bunch of Ghanaians and Africans all over the continent flooded there, particularly Hamburg, Germany. And my parents had me there and we lived there for like 8 years then we moved to America, because we lived in like a one room shack, my parents were washing dishes and not making any bread at all we were on the verge of being on the streets again.
But Hamburg was cool, it was hella snowy. I remember I use to get lost in the snow all the time, my mom had to look for my black ass in there.
Yeah I got a lot of pictures and lots of memories from Hamburg, and I go back almost every year or 2 to visit some family friends that are still there from the 70's. But unfortunatly my German ain't very good matter of fact it ain't there, I use to speak it fluently and for some strange reason my parents didn't want me to continue speaking the language and I learned English.

I guess Hamburg is a pretty cool Place for Non-Whites since it's prolly the biggest german melting Pot next to Berlin and a real rich/poppin' City too but it's the eastern Part of Germany where non-Caucasians have to be real careful not to get into some racial Bullshit
Me personally, I can never get used to the german Lifestyle ...from the Music to the Hobbies to the general Attitude of the Young People (NO it's mainly not even because of the Skinheads or something of that nature I guess Im just different...otherwise I'd have never thought of chopn it up on the BART Board ). I have Very few german Friends that I holla at or hang outwith, my Homies are mostly from Immigrant Fams like myself
