What's up Ecay,first of all I want to say that I love your music and I think that you're a raw ass lyricist as well as a superb producer and I will have every album that you make.Besides having that Jayo Felony "Underground" and "Crip Hop" I never even heard of a San Diego artist in my life.Then I copped that Luni/Irocc "How the West Was Won" and your song was damn near the coldest song on there.So then I got "Mental Scars" and loved it and started feenin for Mitchy and other San Diego artists.The DVD was tight and the album was a 5 nutt classic.Me and my guy bought that shit.I bumped the hell out of tracks #3,6,7,8,10,12,13,15,18,19,21,and as much as I hate the beginning of the song,I still play #17.The beat come in tight as fuck,you start snappin "woo woo woo",then you say "IF IT'S GETTIN THICK ON YO BLOCK OR YO CORNA--YOU SHOULD WATCH YO BACK THIS AIN'T WISCONSIN--THIS CALIFORNIA--WHERE WE GET UP IN YO MIX EVERY WAY--EVERYDAY....I'm like "Ahhh shit,Damn Joe,I just speacially ordered 2 of these muthafuckas and this nigga gettin at our region.I got the cd on a Tuesday (new release day) and just that past Sunday night 2 of my guys went to a club in Beloit,Wisconsin(population 30,000 but hella blacks) and had to up-mag on some Wisconsin ass niggas(bangers GD's or VL's) and it's been going on alot over the past 10 years on Sunday nights when Illinois niggas go to Wisconsin clubs.So i'm like why of all states did he say Wisconsin when it's that close to Illinois.Cause of the PACKERS or all the deer and trees they got.Shit we (ROCKFORD,ILLINOIS) is 20-25 minutes from Beloit,Wisconsin(the state borderline),2 hours S.W. of Milwaukee,WI, an hour and a half N.W. of Chicago, 2 hours from Gary,IN, and 5 hours from Detroit and other nigga cities in between all around the Great Lakes area of the Midwest.My city (Rockford,IL)is similar to San Diego cause we are the 2nd largest cities in our states which have the 2 gang-bang capitals of the world LA (B's & C's) and Chicago (GD's and VL's).But since Rockford is so small (150,000 pop.)I wouldn't consider us Chicago's 2nd city like yall is to LA, Milwaukee,WI is, not Detroit,St.Louis,or Indianapolis which are all bigger than Milwaukee.Milwaukee is closer to Chicago,streets run like Chicago, and banged and pimped out like Chicag
