Let's say you walkin around the mall, and a nigga come up to you with some cds he made of himself, would you buy a copy for 5 dollers or just look at the nigga like he crazy? Sometimes you might be surprized you might like it.

I always try and support the locals...but...sometimes theres a reason why they'll take $2 and some potstickers in exchange for their CD. lol

I've bought a few off the streets.... for the most part, the only nigga who I can say surprised me by fuckin around and having a good mixtape was K-Doe from Oakland, and he gave it to us for free.

i hate getting bothered at that rasputins also, usually the CDs are whack.

its all about the product

most of these fools is making money off of selling garbage, and that creates a garbage man reputation. people will do anything to make money from selling drugs, to selling cds, to selling wolf tickets

if the product aint dope, the fiends aint gonna fuck with it

depends on the effort. If it's shapie'd up then no. At least go get the paper stickes or something. If you bring me a proffesional CD, I might get it for ten, but then again I look for the negotiation of the seller. If I tell em I don't have 5 and he says "what do you have", then I feel his hustle by not letting me walk away and making sure he get's that CD to me somehow. I had a nigga try to sell me a mixtpae for $10(I don't even sell mixtapes for that much), and when I told him no... he walked away. So I don't support his movement becuz he didn't care to haggle. Cold part is... that same rapper got all his music stole from him by his label... and then they dropped him. Now he aint selling shit.

im always down to support when i have the money...ive bought quite a few cds off the streets, but theyre hardly ever worth listening to after spinning once...i dont mind spending under 10, but sometimes cats want like 10 or 12 bucks for their shitty mixtape...
