last year this guy at my work was debating about how the protesters on the golden gate bridge could cost someone their lives because an ambulance might not be able to get through in an emergancy.

today i was thinking about it, and i was wondering if they even drive over it, arent there hospitals on both sides of it??? the only way it'd make sense is if there was an accident actually ON the bridge, cause wouldnt toll booths slow them down anyways?

Well... The ambulances on one side of the bridge could all be used up and then they might need to get one from the other side.

Also, for transports. Transporting a patient from one hospital to another.

Of Course They Would

Hospital ERs Might Refuse The Bus And Tell Them To Take You To An Open ER...Happen To Me, Except It Wasnt Over A Bridge, The ER In Town Wouldnt Accept Buses So They Had To Drive To Mo-Town, Which Cost Me An Arm And A Leg

BTW, AMR Charges Sumthing Like $30 A Mile...Fuckin Thieves

No, they stop the ambulance from going over the bridge, and then the medical response guys dont know what to do so they just toss the hurt/sick fuck(s) over the side of the bridge, problem solved.

what about air lift? politics fuck things up tho.. like for first response (firefighter + emt) when theres a house on fire and youre in the area but its not your district you cant put out the fire.. you have to let the fire department in that area respond.
