DJ Chong Wizard had a huge year in 2005, he released 8 mixtapes, including:

...and 2006 is only looking bigger and better! To start off the New Year Chong brings you Volume 2 in the Thick ReMixtape series. The first Thick ReMixtape was hosted by "Soul Brother # 1" Pete Rock, and featured exclusive remixes by Brand Nubian, DJ Vlad, Chops and Chaundon (of the Justus League). Not to mention some of the best up and coming producers in North America. It was a popular mixtape to say the least and possibly Chong's best mixtape of '05.
The Thick ReMixtape Volume 2 is hosted by Prince Paul, known for his work with Stetsasonic, De La Soul, The Gravediggaz and Handsome Boy Modelling School. Prince Paul says of the project: "This is the most incredible remix-mixtape you've ever heard." Once you get a good listen you'll know it's not just hype. Unlike the first Thick ReMixtape, Volume 2 focuses more on showcasing Vancouver, BC's best producers and DJs. There's remixes from DJ Chong Wizard (CGI), Ro Data (108), Craig Rip, Mr. Rumble, no luck club, and Vinnie The Squid (Slow DJs). If you didn't know about the talent North of the border, you will now. The Thick ReMixtape Vol. 2 also features an exclusive verse from GM Grimm on Craig Rip's remix of the Gravediggaz' Suicide. If that wasn't enough, there's remixes by DJ WD4D (Seattle), Amdex (Atlanta) and Darp Malone (Edmonton/Toronto), along with five rare Prince Paul remixes. Whether it's an old school classic or a brand new hit, the Thick Remixes are guaranteed heaters! Yesh, yesh ya'll, 2006 is looking like another amazing year for DJ Chong Wizard.
