That is the underlying theory in the Da Vinci Code. They claim Jesus survived the crucifixion and had children with Mary Magdeline. Mary fled to France and had children where they had kids with french royalty creating a holy blood line, which people claim is what the holy grail truely is. The Knights Of The Templar were sworn to protect this information, and supposedly the holy grail, which is a scroll with Jesus' geneology is still hidden somewhere...

Exactly. No-one 'descends' to heaven, they 'ascend' to heaven. If you were descending, then you would be going to hell. Jesus thus 'ascended to heaven'.
