Hi BOTS Fam and Friends,
The Ramada -Southfield (same location as Club Yesterdays) needs our help. They are housing over 200 evacuees from New Orleans. They arrived here on Sunday. The hotel is in need of clothes (including shoes) for women, men, children and babies. They especially need
clothes for plus size men. You can take the clothes directly to the
Ramada Inn. They are also in need of volunteers.
Volunteer areas, but not limited to:
Maintenance
-Cleaning Windows, rooms, common areas
Front Desk
-Answering Phones
-Greeter
- Providing Directions to local markets, schools
Activities
-Arts and crafts for the youth
- Games
If your area of interest in not listed, I'm sure they can use your help, so please participate.
Please don't call the hotel. They are swamped. If you have the time to volunteer, just go. They'll put you to work! Please pass this info along.
