i just wanted to see both gay boy de la hoya and scum bag nicca boy mayorga get their faces cracked, but de la hoya went to town on that scrub. dominated and embarassed mayorga for 6 straight rounds. anyone catch it?

IMPOSSIBLE...Mayweather's dad trains De La Hoya. Who knows his son better than him. De La Hoya has waaaay too much boxing skills as seen in this Mayorga fight

^^^ agree, he did work mayorga, but anyone who really knows boxing knows that mayorga has always sucked. hes got no technical skills and has been built up on the whole bad boy battler image. de la hoya specifically chose him knowing his technical skills were beyond niccanina. mayweather way too quick for oscar though

that shit was set up so oscar could win the title, set up the fight with mayweather, then get beat the fuck up by mayweather and lose the belt.

a mayweather vs. mayorga championship fight would attract ZERO interest, but now a De La Hoya vs. Mayweather fight....that's good TV.

yup. i even heard that a guy placed a million dollar bet that de la hoya would win in the 6th round. thats what i love about boxing, its the only sport still ran by organized crime

There might be relevance to that rumor. I was in Reno with my father in Law, and we watched the fight in the High Stakes area. I'd say 25-30 of the people there had the same bet. Knockdown in the first round, and KO in sixth. This lady was kicking herself in the ass for not acting on some ear hustling she did earlier at the bar. She overheard these same dudes discussing their bets and she missed out on getting 15 grand for every thousand bet on the knockdown in the first. Her bookie even called her at the end of the 1st just to laugh at her. Cold game.

nah what i think murdered his rep was when he fucked up Cesar Chavez. Chavez was god to all of the Mexican people and de la hoya came and finished his ass off twice! So ever since then you either Like de la hoya or you fucken hate him!

pretty much. ever since then i did start hating the golden girl. even mayorga, who i cant fucken stand, couldnt get me to root for de la hoya. im not really a big fan of mayweather either. i dont really like his defensive style (won like a bitch against judah) and the fact that hes called pound for pound the best, but i do think hes too quick for de la hoya and i hope he smashes on him

WHAT?

Judah was the one that came off like a bitch with the low blow and hit to the back of the head. Mayweather played a smart fight and never got hurt. Jab on the otherhand looked a bit wobbly b4 the low blow incident.
