I didn't know em personally but I've been bumpin IMP for a few days strait. Nut is still one of the only rappers that I've never heard a verse of his that I didn't like. Does anyone know if he has any unreleased material or the status of it? I thought he was workin on a solo when passed but I could be wrong. REST IN PEACE COUGNUT!!!

There is tons of unreleased stuff. A whole album titled Skanless 2k, or Skanless 2K1, or Treal TV in the Hood lol...Nut changed his mind daily. I've got a few tracks left that are going to come out on our final album Known Associates 3...that will be out in a month or so. I actually took the picture that you have in your sig at his Mom's house about 2 weeks before he passed away. RIP to my boy and my favorite rapper of all time.

Do a search in our Apt.3 forum on the Siccness here, there is tons of info, pics and a few songs that people or myself have posted throughout the years.

Good lookin out folks, I think the word Legend gets thrown around to easily but Nut was definetly a Legend. Who owns the rights to the unreleased albums and will they ever drop?

Man I gotta say Im so glad & proud Im the only only mexican in San Diego who is a hardcore devoted Cougnut/IMP & Apt.3 fanatic; I was the only one been bumpin him in high school while all the lil teeny boppers are stuck on the mainstream shit all cuz San Diego has more of a mainstream crowd & the underground shit only resides in the streets & Im still out here still promotin Cougnut & Apt.3 so I can recruit as much teeny boppers as I can to turn their ears deep into the underground & when I sport my customized t-shirt with a photo of him heatpressed on it; that makes me feel great to expose him to the public so I can attract others & promote his name, music & legacy...... RIP Cougnut forever, another great Bay rap legend lives on......

His family owns the rights. I dunno if his mom wants to go through the hassle anymore...I know a lot of people made her promises that didn't see the light of day so who knows. I wish it would be given to Baldhead Rick, SB, Cellski, TC & Big Drawz and let them do it justice...just wishful thinking though. The album is amazing, it would have been a fuckin classic in 2001...and Nut was so ahead of his time, the music would still be relevent and new sounding in 2010.
