Crooked is another fine example of a great Emcee who can't make great songs IMO.

I'll be checking for him though, he's one of the top West Coast MC's in my book right along with Ras Kaas.

i think crooked i has just started to make great songs, b4 he didnt really pick the right beats, and his hooks were weak. But his latest songs like "boom boom clap", and "cali boyz" are tight as hell all the way through and would qualify as great songs. His best shit is yet to come IMO.

how many shows does dude do out there a month??
He came to Sway & King Tech's "Back to Basics" tour about a year ago. He only performed one song, "Boom Boom Clap" but said he had to go because he was in the middle of shooting the video for "Boom Boom Clap". Other than that, I've never heard of him performing. I don't think we'll ever hear anything by him.

he's a very good rapper. But his time is over. His songs dont have no buzz. Nobody is checkin for him. He will never put out an album. And he does no shows. I actually like him, he's one of the tightest rappers on the West but his songs are wack. Nobody cares about him. Hey guys I'm just being honest and getting straight 2 da point of the forum...he is small.

he had a little bit of a buzz when boom boom clap came out. He shouldve released an album after that or just put that on hold for a minute and made it one of his singles. I think that was a waste of a song right there.

He should have dropped his first album right after those C-Style compilations dropped in the late 90's, and then his second album while he was with Death Row. I think if that happened people would really be checking for him now. I really think Death Row did a lot of damage to the LA rap scene by not releasing everybody they had signed. There was a lot of talent that never saw the light of day...
