We are holding a contest for Emcees and a contest for Producers......
Emcees-We have uploaded 2 FIRE ASS songs "Stroke Me" and "Stomp Music" at www.myspace.com/newliferecordsnlr and have left an open verse for the RIGHT emcee. Do you have the skills to jump on these songs? We will let the people decide. Download the songs, record your verses & email them to [email protected] We will upload all that are sent to our myspace page and let our viewers decide who's verse is the best. If you don't have quality then dont' bother. The winners will be on a nationally distributed album, as well as have their websites promoted by us on our myspace page, & via our monthly newsletter(that has over 50,000 subscribers). This is a chance for alot of exposure, so take it seriously.
Producers-We have also uploaded like 5 acapella samples at www.soundclick.com/newliferecords which we want turned into Beats. The acapellas will be used as the hooks of the songs & of course you can use them throughout the song however you would like as well. They should have 2 verses 16 bars each. Again email the beats to [email protected] (.wav format please, you may need to send via www.yousendit.com) & again we will put them up on our myspace page and let our viewers decide the winner.
