Computer sound question

For some reason my speakers seem a lot lower than before, even when they're on full blast. I noticed this a few nights ago. I went to the sound section in the control panel, and put it to the highest setting. Still the volume seems lower than usual. Is there any other place to adjust the volume? Thanks.

Are you sure the speaker jacks are fully into your pc? Mine was out jus a little bit once and I pushed it in w/ volume at max and it blew out my eardrum..lol

Yea, I forgot to mention its a laptop. But then I tried it w/ headphones and its still low.

make sure to go into the sound in the taskbar the lil' speaker, and mess with the Audio Properties & Volume Control

the volume control and wave are what you want to adjust

^^^ Oh shit, thanks a lot man. I just right clicked on that speaker icon and found the wave menu u were talkin about. It was turned all the way low. I turned it up all the way and now its back to normal.
