HAS ANYONE ELSE NOTICED COKE AND PEPSI MAKETING THEIR SODAS TOWARDS BLACK PEOPLE?THE ONES SHOWING BLACK DRINKING COKE IN THE HOOD WHILE SOME WEAK ASS RAP MUSIC PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND.....IT STRUCK ME FUNNY BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW ONE SINGLE BLACK PERSON THAT DRINKS COKE OR PEPSI.....MOST THAT I KNOW WOULD RATHER DRINK WATER BEFORE REGULAR FLAVORED SODAS....DOES ANYONE ELSE UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYIN????

they're tryin to appeal to the "hip-hop generation"...all these mtv/radio people who think hip-hop is "cool", people who think because they wear rockafella and sean john they ARE hip hop...

they already got the old people sewed up wit them holiday comercials and the old school ones they used to show...

hip hop has crossed over. it's "pop" culture. everyone wants to be a part of it....across all races....but it gives the product credibility when black people endorse it under the hip hop umbrella. it's still cheesy as fuck, but it's not yet to the point that rappin whiteboys in the barrio of bel air can pull it off just yet. that is coming soon. then blacks will reinvent hip hop and morph it into something else that the whites can emulate.:classic:

Dude, it's true.....it's happend to every freaking "black" genre of music....jazz....blues....even rock music.....take a listen to a lil ditty by Mos Def called "rock and roll". It explains it all. Sorry for all my unpopular opinions but jeez.....folks need a reality check here and there.

hey, i don't start these threads dude. i'm stating the truth here. no one else is gonna step to the plate and rock the boat, so i will. we can either all live in a bubble and close our eyes to shit, or we can see the truth. people who see the truth know that it is a responsibility to speak on it, therefore that's what i do. like it or not, it's just real shit. :classic:
