It depends on whether you like Futbol or Basketball more. They're both good games but personally I'd go with 2k9 but that's just me.

I like em both equally they are both hella fun, except in soccer you gotta buy your updates on players for different leagues. In OXM NHL 09 got the best ratings out of all the sports games.
