good shit i was worried they werent gonna do much of anything. but it looks like they did alright. on a side note, my boy cuts Sam Williams hair and he said that everybody is happy with the coaching staff and apparently they want them to draft Russell.

yeah seems like all the players are liking the things Kiffen is doing... Just look at Porter for example.. The players respected a young coach in Gruden now lets see how Kiffen does.. I'm ready!

Kiffin is doing good, but i think it also has something to do with Al Davis. He is finally letting a coach have some leway, hiring his own coaches and shit. But am just waiting to see if Davis doesnt get in the way like the fucker tends to do.

Again I will say it.....Where is the o-line? and the wr's they have were trouble last year, wait until they see what happens with a rookie qb.

You guys missed out on all the good te's and are now grasping at air, Rhodes is good, but is NOT a starting rb, much less a fulltime rb!

So really you are standing pat there, he is not much from a lamont Jordan..a little strogner but still can't take the full load.

And back to the team as a whole....the moces you have made are nothing compared to how much the other teams in your division have gotten stronger.

You cannot contend for anything until you are stronger in your division, and right now you are not.

go position by position and there are not many postions Oakland is better than 3rd in.

Major positions on offense they are well under the other 3 teams.

so name me 1 offensive postion Raiders are better than 3rd in the division at.

Are they better at qb?

nope, not even with russell

are they better at rb...nope they are 4th there

how about te? nope again 4th there

are they the best at wr....uhh nope?

seriously look at position by postion and you will see what I am saying.

If you break it down like that then you have a good point. But it's a team game and just because teams are better than us when you compare the teams and their players position by position means nothing. The games still have to be played.

And we may have the best receivers in our divison while you're at it. Everyone suffered career lows in Art's system. Moss, Porter, and Curry are three pretty good receivers. K.C., Denver, and San Diego's receivers are not as good. You can make a case for Denver but Walker is the only one. Rod Smith is aging as we type. Don't say K.C. has better receivers or even San Diego. Be real....

kc and san diego are low at wr yes...but they work with what they have and put up GREAT numbers.

Denver is far more than Javon.....what about Marshall? Rod Smith as a #3..please he is as good as a #3 can get even at his old age.
