Hey I was searching for artists on myspace under the genre hyphy (which juts got added on) and some artists from Kansas City, Nevada, Wisconsin, and other places have artists that claim their genre is hyphy... that's a trip... its coo to see other artists from all over recognizing the hyphy movement. Like last night on kmel they played this song by this dude from brooklyn talkin about other places like "when I go down south they like to get crunk, when im in the yay we like to go stupid doo doo dumb and hyphy"... It's coo! But anyways just some info.

its just a title tho dog, i done seen rappers call themselves punk rock, R&B singers calling themselves reggae. niggas say they comedy, or heavy metal...those titles is mostly a joke to me/them. i think the point in adding that, is that it shows what music inspires you, you know what i mean...

its obvious that hyphy shit inspires them to make music. i mean can a dude come to the bay and go to a club and get hyphy along with yall?

OR they see this as the new "in thing" and they want to put the new popular terms so that when you do a search you will stumble across them- which you did. It's kinda like the artist who will be jumping off of the hyphy train in the Bay if it doesnt pop off as planned.
