Good video. It's a shame most people don't question why things are the way they are. We all just except whatever it is without really questioning why it exists and it's all just the same on going trends. We've all been conditioned to think in one dimensional ways for the most part. See religion, education, politics, culture, media,....

This country is far more fucked up than just the education system. But of course, it all starts with education. Those who are truely educated can think for themselves.

true. problem is what we've come to consider "truly educated"...if one has a piece of paper certified by a university...especially a brand name one...he's considered "smart"...those who don't are considered not. all the things that come along with that are causing a lot of problems.

but as a society we've put the college degree on such a high pedestal that this doesnt seem like its going to end until we have so much people with degrees that we're going to overinflate it. oh well

my main problem is with this whole "no child left behind" "no excuses" obsession with standardized testing. we're killin kids' souls!!
