I know there's other doods in this forum that be getting their shit braided besides me, I AM, and lady trajik :lick: where do y'all be getting design ideas or do you just let whoever does your shit just go at it? most of the time I don't ask for anything specific, just "make my shit look tight" but this time I kinda wanted to have other ideas in mind at least. feel free to post pics of your shit or others braids

Usually I'll see somethin in a magazine or on TV....I like Iverson's braids most of the time...but I don't want my shit to be exactly the same...so I let the braider have some freedom too...i've had zig zag designs, waves, fishbones, straight back, straight down, i had spiral type shits that were pretty dope...and the last time i got my hair braided the chick did some other shit...i asked for waves or zig zags, and she gave me what's in my avatar....
i've also looked up "braid designs" and "braid styles" on google, but nothing really comes up that has a quality picture.

i cut off 11 1/2 inches in December I think....it was 28 inches long, it was startin to hit my lower-lower back (about 4-7 inches from my tailbone--but it started growing hella slow)...now it's just below my shoulders...but hey, locks of love sent me a post card saying i helped someone! woo hoo! lol....

i dont ever copy no shit i seen or try for anything really....i have a funny hairline so it has to be done a certain way to look good thas why i only let like 3 different girls braid my hair regularly cuz they know wtf they doin.....
this one was done by Brenda of HANDZ Braids in Oakland...close to you Defy....she got skills....she was my neighbor when i was livin up in Vacaville and shed charge me less at home then she do in her shop....her shop name is HANDZ for a reason she did this in like 20 minutes flat....
the girl i have doin em here in stoccton is a lil slower but she does em nice and tight and im usually sportin hers when ya see me....i jus let her do what she feels like and she comes wit some crazy shit sometimes....if she feelin lazy she jus does it simpler......
