Now I know the gym is place not known for your best personal hygiene. Most people have probably been sitting at work all day in the same clothes and then immediately go to the gym and don't smell their best. But if you smell SO BAD that every person you walk by turns their head to see where that stench came from, you have problems. I don't know how a person can smell that bad AT THE GYM that they make people turn their heads in astonishment at the smell.

There are four guys at my gym whose faces I recognize because of their terrible smell. I'll either see one of them heading my way and brace my sinuses for the impact they are going to take. Or I'll smell the horrible smell and sure enough look up and see one of those four men.

People need to take a shower at least once a day, wash your clothes, and put on some fucking deodorant. I don't care what your customs are/were in the country you came from or the family you grew up in. This is America, and you have the right and freedom to use any deodorant you want. It should be in the American Constitution that using deodorant is mandatory if you are going to be in a public place around other people.

the worst is when someone gets up off a machine your waiting on and the air that blows by you when they walk by smells like an onion patch and you look down and they dripped sweat ALL over the machine

^^^and i like how the number one rule of working out at a gym (pretty much) is to wipe down that sweat, but of course the dood who weighs about 350 pounds and works out 30 hours a week is the guy who made it sweaty in the first place.

I'm in the gym 5 days a week, once in a while I will find myself working out next to someone that reeks, but overall it's not that bad. I guess I've been lucky. I agree about it being mandatory to wear deodarant, I would just feel disguisting going to gym without having put on deodarnt. I even spray myself with Red Zone or Axe to make sure I smell fresh working out.

i hate when people scream when they lift weights, SHUTTHE FUCK UP ALREADY!
There are 3 cats that go to the gym that do this shit everytime they lift, I mean they be having everybody looking at them. Its one thing when your nearing muscle failier and your trying to pull out that last rep or two, but all the time fuck no, that shit is plain stupid to me.

^^ I don't do it, doesnt help me, but for some guys it just gives them that extra boost of adrenaline when they lift. If you notice, most of the time its always the big ass dudes that do it, so they must know what they're doing..

But when it some skinny guy with 5lb dumbells, shit just cracks me up lol...

I completely understand that, but what I am talking about are the people that walk through a certain area and then I walk through the same area 30 seconds later and it still stinks even though they have been nowhere near the area for the last 30 seconds. But I have thought about getting a fire extinguisher filled with spray deodorant and just spraying those stinky mother fuckers.

What makes me laugh the hardest at the gym are the guys that are too proud to ask for a spot when they are lifting a heavy weight, like on the bench press. They can't lift the bar off their chest and are trapped under the weight and have to rely on two or three alert guys to lift it off their chest. And they still don't learn their lesson because five minutes later you see them doing it again.
