As you guys know, I know a lot of Denver Underground Rap artists. I ran into my big homie Sabotage from the group BMW bka Brotha's Most Wanted. This is the same group that put out "October 31st". Any how, he told me that he/they did make their first 3 albums on CD, but he only made about 50 to 100 of them back in the day. I'm hoping that he can find them, because he told me that he thinks that he has a few of each title. I've been waiting on his word for a couple of weeks now. He told me that his basement in his old house flooded and most of those CD's were damaged and that he had to throw most if not all of them away. He went on to tell me that he never sold them in store or anywhere, because CD format wasn't poppin' back in '91, '92 and etc. I was astounded, because I've had all 3 of his original releases before. I'm sad to say that somebody jacked me for my "Gangstas From The Underound" Tape back then. "Gangstas From The Underground" is the album title to the album that most of you guy's think is called "Niggas In Hats And Hoods". In reality thats (Niggas In Hats And Hoods) the title to one of the tracks on "Gangstas From The Underground" album. My question is what do you guy's think that these albums are worth on CD? I ask this because I've had had the tape to "Spit N The Truth" forever and people have offered amounts up to $400 for the tape, but I refused to sell my personal copy and still do. If he finds these CD's and get's back with me I'm going to sell them. Of course I have to keep one of each title in my personal collection first and whatever is left I will sale. Heck, if any are left after that. Here are the titles to BMW's first 3 albums:

BMW - Spit N The Truth - 1992
BMW/187 G's - Faces Of Death - 1992
BMW - Gangstas From The Underground (w/ the track titled "Niggas In Hats And Hoods") - 1994 or 1995? I don't know, because this is the only one that I don't have in my personal collection anymore.

What do you think that these titles are worth on CD?

Oh yeah, he said that they were officially/professionally released on glass bottom/silver bottom pressings. He looked at me strange when I asked him if they where CD-R's. He quickly responded, "Hell no. CD-R's weren't around back in the early 90's. That technology didn't exist back then". Of course that made me happy.

i think those 1992 albums wouldnt go ultra high cuz ther not too many oldschool heads that bring up alot of cash.u will have more luck wit that 94 or 95 album, tahts the era these guys spend their money for.

I sold them for much, much more ($850, $950 and offline many times before I even listed it on ebay for $1,200) than what you said I could get. Now there all gone and people are still trying to get a hold of those CD's from me. I wish that I had more!!! That was a good time.

You've been wrong before and I know that you're wrong again. You are entitled to your veiw/perspective/thoughts and I do respect your opinion, but I don't agree with your reasoning. It's flaud. If the date is the only reason for a album not being worth much, then that doesn't make sense to me. That's like saying that Too $horts "Born To Mack" and his "Life Is Too Short" albums aren't any good, because they were made in 1988 and 1989. We all know that those albums are classics and full of funky beats and baselines. The date doesn't matter; the artist does and people love BMW. Yes, you may not like early 90's rap, but I've even seen you sell many early 90's pieces and they've pulled in damn good money in your auctions too.

In all honesty...I know that people are going to love their 3 previous albums even more than their 1998 "October 31st" release. This is truely a collectors item that any fan of good music could appreciate.

I thought the same thing, but Sabotage told me that he made they made about 50 to 100 of them back in the day, but he couldn't remember how many exactly. I'm just hoping that he does find some. I'm crossing my fingers.

It never came out. None of those titles inside of the "October 31st" coming soon section ever came out. Sabotage is working on his first solo release, but he hasn't named it yet. He let me hear a few tracks. I heard his song called "I Seen" and this other one with a female on it and they both came through reall nicely!!! The nicca was in motion and trying to get somewhere, so I didn't want to take up too much of his time, but I haven't seen him in a long time and it was good to see him. none the less. That foo' got lyric's and real life subjects that everybody could relate to; regardless of your background. That nicca be spitin for real. His brother rap name is "Game" and he fuckz it up too. You can see "Game" by looking at the inside of the front insert of their 1998 "October 31st" CD. As you can already figure..."Game" wasn't too happy when "The Game" came out with the same name. LMFAO!!! Thank you for keepin' this thing on a positive note.

second thing is that im 100% rite on that the mainstream is lookin for sum 94-99 shit.fosure theres sum other shit that brings sum money but only because of sum super big hypes around it like that wack azz first dre d tape.....if you think you couldnt judge the worth of a cd by the year then u re generally wrong cuz 98% of those ebayers are lookin fo sum gphonky type of shit and not sum pure rarity wack oldschool shit.maybe u got luck findin sum who pay alot for those oldschool cds but in general thats not the case.and im defintily rite on that point !
