Yeah the thing is tho, Fab might be known by more people outside the bay but it doesn't seem like people are really checking for his music that much. He got shelved by Atlantic and hasn't had a solo album since what, Son of a Pimp, like 7 years ago? He's about a baby step above Clyde Carson in popularity and buzz and I would be saying the same thing, they don't really seem in the position to be putting artists on when they themselves are struggling to stay relevant.
HD got a cool movement going with Bearfaced, on some hood shit. They're on the way to being the next Livewire. Unless Blast Holiday changes up his subject matter, he's better off staying local because there isn't too much of a market for real hood cats. This is where his fans are at, at home.
