Who saw them last nite at the Fillmore? That shit was 2 sicc. They blew up the stage. Had the crowd pumped the entire time. Phat Lip from Pharcyde opened 4 'em. I walked in as he was finishing up, performing one of my fav. tracks - "Passing Me By". He even did a tribute 2 Richard Pryor (not a track but an impersonation). They had guest apperances by Lyrics Born & another cat whose name I can't remember (no disrespect; someone post it if they know &/or went). Freestyles, exculsives, old & new tracks. It was suppose 2 end at 11 but they did an encore performance & brought everyone on stage 4 some ill freestyling 4 another 15 min. or so. Def. one of the best in the bay & music. Gift Of Gab is a maniac. They truly are artists & represent the treal meaning of hip-hop/rap - creativity & originality. I feel they can bring light & positive attention 2 the bay. Not 2 say that's why there doin' it; however, I'm glad they're from here.

Ya I feel you. There's not much talk about 'em on here. Every once in awhile. If you can make it, do it. Just GO...

Good lookin on makin the thread...i was gonna make one too...im surprised no else on here has said something...that show was insane. Gift of Gab is on a whole nother level, dood is just insane...they knew how to do a fuckin set. good timing, good intro, not a lot of talking, just music, the freestyling was INSANE, especially when all three (with Lyrics Born) were goin at the same...and my homie and i got in for free. just an all around good show.

DID THEY do Alphebet Arobics part 1? I would think that would be super ridicoulus to see live, Blacklicious to me is the top "hip-hop" act. They can be really positive without sounding too corny.NIA is a good album aswelll

Alphebet Arobics part 1 was how they set it off. The crowd & I were stunned. Damn I want 2 see them again. I wonder if they rehearsed.

that song is nuts. They're is one song on the Blazing Arrow album that is similar to it where the dude rocks over the drums perfect while they change patterns all crazy

yah that alphebet song is on a level that most rapper wont be on until the year 2085. but they hella well known outside of the bay/siccness.net, seen them on mtv.com, stuff magazine, and other hip-hop magazines
