Bought it at Frisco street show in Nov 2002. It was o.k. considering it did have somewhat of a story line - two as a matter of fact. End of story left you wondering if there was going to be a sequel because of what happened at the end - Mall.

Seem like it was shot in and around the housing projects in Fillmoe and on 3rd street. Lot's of dialoge. Also, there were some tiny commentary from JT and old school videos of JT and mac Mall.

I would say, cop it, just because its one of first movies produced by someone from the bay and it had (from what I believe) a good story line/s and recommend it be shown to young boys who dont have any direction in life. JT is a couple of city college classes from being an excellent story teller. Cat (JT) needs to work on his verbal presentation.

I own a vhs copy of this movie. I confused at times to tell you the truth..... The main two storylines about JT buying ownership of Mo Music and the storyline about Kobee Bryant either accepting the basketball scholarship or being drawn into the street life were both good concepts but, the way the story was told and all of the pointless dialogue made this movie a little hard to follow.
