rap wise? i hear a lot of cats talkin about how they doin it but i wanna see the soundscans....who really moved the units this year? im guessin that the guce and marv bullys wit fullys or the new quinn album sold the most.. anybody with soudnscan wanna post some numbers?

no one ever knows cuz no one ever has soundscan numbers for bay rap...the best u'll find is a label rep giving an offhand number...or cats on here who think they know what theyre tlaking about.

this what i dont understand about mess droppin so many albums this year.... surely each one aint movin more than couple thousand units, didnt make sense to me to drop 6 projects over 2 consolidated ones with good promo and distro

Some of you are seriously joking with the numbers you are throwing out...quit listening to what these rappers are tellin you and check the soundscan... Quinn is at about 17,800 and then its a big dropoff for indy rap releases this year in the bay...but B-Legit came in at the end of last year(Sept. 05) and has sold around 30,000

^^i was just going to say something along those lines...seeing people throwing out #'s like 50,000 is crazy. most are LUCKY to get anything close to 10,000
