Bears Sign WR Lloyd to replace Berrian.

BEARS BAG LLOYD

With Bernard Berrian departed via free agency and Muhsin Muhammad on the trash heap, the Chicago Bears are trying to put together a receiving corps.

And so they've picked through other teams' garbage, signing Marty Booker and, more recently, Brandon Lloyd.

The team announced the move to add Lloyd on Friday.

Lloyd was cut by the Redskins earlier this year. He was traded to D.C. in 2006 from the 49ers, where he played for three years.

The five-year veteran played college football at Illinois for Bears offensive coordinator Ron Turner.

Hes getting better and now hes got Berrian to throw too. Rice is gonna be good in this league and hes only 21 years old. I predict our offense will be top 10 overall cause you know our running game is gonna be dope.
