Battles

Battles is a experimental/math rock band from New York City. They are one of those "ex members of..." bands consisting most notably of drummer John Stanier of Helmet and guitarist Ian Williams of Don Caballero. They started out as a mostly instrumental band but have incorporated some, albeit strange, vocals into the songs on their debut full length album Mirrored. Now this music isn't going to be for everyone and you have to listen to it with a open ear. I for one can't get enough of the album though.

Watch the video too, the guitarist (who is from Don Caballero, he is the one with the light blue button up shirt on) is playing the guitar with one hand and the keyboard with the other, that is fucking crazy.
