It's been a few years since I've been into the "rap discussion" stuff in my free time, but it seems like most of the people on here are really young talking about, "izzle shizzle" bullshit. What ever happened to normal talk about stuff ? I'm still an E-40/Jay Tee fan..... so how can I still like the same records, but hate to hear the new fans ?

Anyway, times are changing I guess. What do the guys that used to surf this page (and I don't mean the siccness bullshit, I mean REAL B.A.R.T.) back in '97 think ?

Don't post in here unless you're 22+ years old and NO "izzle, shiznit" talk. English only.

Times change, and there have ALWAYS been "those type" of cats on here lol....Everyone was a n00b at one time and the ones who are morons tend to leave after a while....But just becuase someone has been on the board for years doesn't make them LESS of an idiot either lololol...

You feel me tho I hope Brian....Yer an oldschool cat and a person I consider a friend....But Bay Area music is evolving and I think it's good that new people are coming to the board and gaining an interest....There will be the geezers who will do NOTHING but make posts like "remember BART when..." but contribute NOTHING to the board (and I don't mean u)....I'd rather have some new blood in here than someone who just wants to gripe...

BTW, hit me on AIM u Toyota whore!!!!

its hard to find people on this board that are willing or able to actually have a genuine discussion about anything anymore....immaturity is definitly starting to spread on these forums,a lot of new younger posters trying to come in and make their mark by being hard and calling people out. the ones you try to talk to and end up getting called a "hater" or a "bitch" just cause they arent able to carry on a normal conversation so they result to name calling when they dont agree with you....its doesnt bother me too much, but i just dont see why more posters just cant act normal

i also agree with Mark though, new blood is definitly needed to keep these boards going, would get dull without new opinions and personalities...most of us were the same way when we first started posting here or anywhere else, but just seems so damn unnecessary now, haha

I was on the Old School B.A.R.T. way back when....I don't post much anymore, I just read the topics that catch my eye.

If you think this is getting bad, check out Thizzworld.com forums, so stupid shit going on in there...

I came on in 1999 and im about to be 21, Id say in general the discussion here tends to revolve more around sarcasm and jokes than it ever has before. When someone posts a dumb ass question or comment they tend to get ridiculed at lot more which I dont have a problem with. I think that posts have become more diluted because you have 10k or more people now on the Siccness and the BART Board dwarfs all the other boards in terms of users and posts, but you can still find some good posts usually a few a day. I think my average posting is like 1 per day, but BART is still good IMO for discussion and news/events... it is pretty gay though when people start catchin feelins over the net and shoot their mouth off like some internet gangstaz but im sure you remember that from the old BART n Siccness as well.

As far as the music goes, I think its as good as ever. I grew up on that oldschool RBL and IMP and Operation Stackola type music and I will always love that shit, but I think today's scene is even more diverse (not better) than it was 10 years ago. Every generation is gonna have their opinions but I think a lot of the newbies are pretty tight as well as some of the OGs like Yuk and 40 who have been around for ever.

lol
this reminds me
we were in Double Rock us grown folk chillin
and the kids started a fuckin ruckus, like 30 of em runnin up and down the little hill screamin and shit...and this is 4am in the morning
the og's started comin out there houses like "what the fuck" but everyone just let them do their little thing

but it just showed the difference between generations, my generation 21-25 and the one before me the 26-32 yr olds grew up roamin in packs, but were always quiet till it was time to ride
and these kids like to blow up the spot, make everything seem like a side show
life ain't a mac dre song kids

I'm a vet. I was there for the old school BART when cats would make little Photoshop covers clownin that one cat... what was his name?? Shaw Powers or somethin like that. I've since re-invented myself and changed my handle. Any guesses???

Fuck that, don't guess...

It was easier to be a character back then cause there weren't as many people on the boards. You had the few cats that clowned everybody but it was all in good spirit and nobody ever really got butt hurt about it. BUT NOW ...

Like SiccFucc said, you got these noobs that can't carry on an actual conversation who resort to calling you out of your name when you challenge anything they say. But hey, that's what happens when you have this much traffic on a message board.

It's like going on Xbox Live (for you gamers) and you got those geekazoids screaming into their communicators throughout the whole game. There are so many people subscribed to Xbox Live that eventually, you're going to run into the morons.

Im 20, I been on the boards since I was 16 I think, maybe even 15

Times have changed alot and Ive grown alot from the bay scene as well as rap in general but I stilll listen to the classics like dre dog, quinn and the done deal fam, some jt, n2deep, mob figaz, the thizzle camp, dubee

Im not feeling alot of the new artists but I like awax and ill support most of his music though

Anyone know the deal on the e40/too short album "History Channel", I remember Senator saying it was done and they were just shopping the album...I really want to hear this along with a 40/blegit album to
