Y'all think that Phoenix will become [or already has] the new team for us to hate? Similar to how Portland and Sacramento were in the past? Personally, aside from Tim Thomas and Raja Bell, I have no problem with them at all. But you already know that when the Suns come out to LA in '07 the atmosphere is gonna be crazy. What y'all think?

Just because they beat us in the playoffs once doesn't mean its already a rivalry in the way the Lakers and Kings rivalry was. That was every year in the playoffs and plus the Lakers and Kings players hated each other. But there will be more tension during the games now then there was before.

^^ Thats true
Now if the same shit happens next year then it will become more of a rivalry because the lakers would have lost in the playoffs two years in a row to the same team

I agree with y'all. I'm sayin' though...with D'Antoni's comments, the Raja Bell incident, the fact that we let em come back after bein' up 3-1, and how almost every Lakers fan believes that Kobe should've won the MVP rather than Nash I'm positive we saw the beginning of a new Western Conference rivalry.

fuck you and fuck your team,...long time no type asshole,....
(see how kings and rapers fans are about eachother ?...)

even thos i hate your guts and caint wait to toss you in my trunk,..i must say thet i agree about how you said this you punk rock,...your cry baby kobe has really done really well since he took over the team,..all by himself,..man i have to get my hands on his ladies ring,....some day,...

and too not just team vs. team,..but the gang aspect also played a major role in the 98-2003 or so era of us going at it,..it was like wether you likes basket ball or not you wanted to see the kings and rapers go at it every year and it was good cause during the seaon you 'll see a dab here and there of fights and chit,..i dont feel so bad not getting a ring,...so long as the rapers dont get it hehhehhehee

i still have video tapes of reg./playoff seaons and watch them thru the year
i dont put the score on the tapes,...so it's like watching it live like i have not seen it yet,...it's good to see the old rosters go at it,...it's like having espn classics but only for these 2 teams

Lakers can hate the Suns all they want.. Suns still gonna whoop them for years to come. You think anyone on the Lakers can fuck with Amare? Low post, perimter, high post.. dont matter.

But nah.. I dont see the Suns worrying about the Lakers enough to beef with them. They're below the Suns, not on the same level. That's like 50 Cent goin at someone like Gonzoe on a track. Not worth his time or effort. Its nothin.

Remember our two big men and best player didn't play that series..

Remember one correct call the refs botched and the series wouldn't have even need to go to a game 7

Remember the Suns beat the lakers the past 14 out of 15 games before the playoffs

Botched call or not, the best player in the world still had to make TWO buzzer beating shots. I find it funny how you were giving the Lakers props after that game, but now you're trying to play the "I knew we'd win. We're the much better team." position. I'll just say enjoy this season while it lasts because next season the Lakeshow takin' back the West. Quote me on that.

dog, in terms of shit talking, I kept pretty quiet. I could have said a LOT.

I like to brag.. but I'll keep my mouth shut (for the most part) for the rest of the playoffs.. I dont like to jinx my team.

fact of the matter is, lakers are gonna have one great player next year (kobe) and one okay player (odom) and a bunch of scrubs

Suns are gonna be LOADED. check this shit out. starting line up: Nash, Bell, Marion, Thomas, Amare. Coming off the bench: Diaw,Tim Thomas, Barbosa, James Jones, and Eddie House. Thats depth you cant buy, my friend. Thats the fuckin dream team right there.

you honestly gonna sit here and tell me the lakers can fuck with that? cmon now... think logically here. fan or not, you gotta come to your senses. Suns are limpin with a broken arm, fractured leg, and a couple black eyes. and they're still winning. When they're all 100%.....

and lakerz.. dont gimme that shit about botched calls. THAT botched call literally costed them the game. three things: 2 players screaming time out, a foul, bill waltons foot out of bounds while he was holding the ball. botched call. shouldnt happen. thats why the suns beat the lakers 5-2 in that series. and yeah, best player didnt play all season. and they still fucked shit up. thanks for proving my point.

Whos's the best player that didn't play because I rememebr Steve Nash in all 7 games. And the best player of the series still had two make a huge game winning shot whether it was a botched call or not (though it was). You don't know what the Lakers will do during the offseason and the Suns being a dream team? LMAO anyway they will fuck with that and watch out next year.

During the regular season the Lakers lost 10 games where they were ahead under the 1:00 mark. That's clearly due to inexperience. Even if we have the same roster next season that record will turn into 7-3 or 8-2. We'll be even better in the playoffs, too. However, Phil Jackson has already said he's gonna make sure this off-season is a success, and I hope Kupchak doesn't let him down. Call it bias if you want but Lakers fans can sense that another dynasty is in the works. We'll just have to wait and see, though.
