LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Police say the arrest of a rap figure in San Francisco in a double slaying in Las Vegas last May exposes a feud between Midwest and West Coast rap groups.

But they say they're not sure yet if the arrest of 35-year-old Andre "Mac Minister" Dow will reveal links to other local cases -- or bring an end to a spate of rap music violence dating back more than a year.

Dow's also a suspect in slaying in Fairfield, California, that might be related to the Las Vegas case.

The Clark County district attorney says he'll seek Dow's extradition for trial in Las Vegas on murder and conspiracy charges in the May 23rd killings of Kansas City, Missouri-based rapper Anthony "Fat Tone" Watkins and Jermaine "Cowboy" Akins.

A police affidavit calls the Las Vegas slayings revenge for the November 2004 drive-by slaying in Kansas City of California rapper Andre "Mac Dre" Hicks.
