I think the problem wit the prenup were alot of beats sounded the same n to many "love" songs. Also y'all say 1000 sold soundscan? You have to take into consideration all the trunk sales n alot of mom n pops stores are straight cash biznesses so that soundscan shit is only good for the big stores like a best buy or some shit like that.

i think the soundscan numbers are there to give you an idea as to what hes doing outside the bay. Im pretty sure he has the Bay on lock, but alot of us here feel he should be big on a national level. I havent left the area so I have no clue as to the promotion hes been doing outside the region....

I know a lot of my homies in washington, NY and in sacramento still haven't heard of livewire or him. So I think they just need to hit different markets and that is all. I just found out about these cats last month because of being on this website

Very true.....That "local grind" will only get you local "#" which means local "$".....Unfortunately that's where the independent scene is going, but these majors are spending millions to market their artists and their numbers are not that much better.......
