I've been told many times that they are hard to make sound good when they are taken off the program.

I'm just trying to break down my problems that i had when i burned some beats to disk cuz they sounded fine within the program and when i burned them to Wavs and played them on the media players on my comp. I really think its a burner issue but I'm no expert with this stuff, I know how to make beats I don't really know alot of the other aspects of this stuff. I don't have fancy studio monitors or nothing like that either, my computer speakers are pretty good i think though they sound good. Any suggestions?

I have ran into two problems with this program. When I am finished mixing and export the file as a .wav all of the levels are WAY off from where they were in the mix. Also even though every thing is quantized when it is exported shit is all off beat. The drums will be on and maybe the bass line but everything else will be off for some reason. I am pretty sure it is something I am doing wrong. Oh well you can't beat a MPC 2000 XL and an ASR-10 with a $300.00 program anyway. Fuck it, Back to the boards!

i know that when messing with REASON......
u need to be using compressors and things of that nature
in the auxillary sends on the mixer......
otherwise your sounds dont come as u mixed them in the program..
i dunno the details....PHIL and JR (off this site)
are the 1s that have mentioned it 2 me.....
there are also REASON sites (like http://www.reasonstation.net/ )
where u might be able to find info (tutorials, files & posting on their forum)
& i think there are pre-made setups 2 make sure ure files export the best possible....
but thats just taking their word for it i guess?

My shit came out pingy as all hell, but only when i burned to CD using roxio. When I sent beats through AIM they sounded fine to the people on the other end. Maybe if the beats were mixed dow through some recording software instead of straight through reason it would sound like its supposed to, thats just my guess. It pisses me off cuz I know the innerworkings of that program real well and switching to something else will be a bitch.
