I thought they were all great fights. Matt Hughes won yet again by Rear Naked Choke defeating Frank Trigg in the 1st round. There were a few times I though Hughes was about to get knocked out and then Trigg got Hughes in the same choke hold but Hughes got free and choked Trigg out.

The standout fight and the one everyone was watching for was the rematch between Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture. I was voting for Liddell all the way and wish I would have put money on him. Liddell won by knocking out Couture two minutes into the 1st round. Liddell hit Couture with a devasting right cross and followed through with three more shots as Couture went down. Couture went down like a brick. I thought the fight would go longer but I am happy Liddell knocked Couture out. Don't get me wrong I think Couture is a great fighter but I just like Liddell more. Crazy thing also is Liddell said in a interview that he was going to knock Couture out in the first round :knockout: . Plus now we can see a third rematch hopefully.

Overall it was a great UFC 52 in my opinion.

hell yeah, that was a great pay per view...chuck lived 3 houses down from me where i go to school. he's a cool motherfucker...that was a great fight. i'm glad he proved everyone wrong...

The best moment was when Hughes was about to get knocked out, then he reversed, carried Trigg 15 feet before slamming him... that shit was incredible.

Randy was looking a little old.

I FEEL SORRY FOR RANDY, I LIKE BOTH FIGHTERS, I COULDNT REALLY GO FOR EITHER ONE OF THEM, I DONT KNOW WHY RANDY TRIED TO STAND WITH HIM, I MEAN HE SAW WHAT HAPPENED TO TITO, LIDDELL DEFINITELY PUT HIMSELF IN LEGENDARY STATUS NOW, HOPEFULLY HE CAN FIGHT VANDALAY SILVA AND KNOCK HIS ASS OUT.

THE WHOLE EVENT WAS PRETTY GOOD, ITS GOOD THAT THEY SHOWED A LOT OF FIGHTS, I THOUGHT IT WAS ACTUALLY OVER FOR MATT HUGHES EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A FLUKE,

DUDE THAT SAID THIS IS JUST ANOTHER UFC NOTHING SPECIAL, YOU CAN DOWNPLAY IT ALL YOU WANT BUT UFC IS PRETTY MUCH TAKING OVER AGAIN, I MYSELF CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE.

Yeah I remember that. I think that was UFC 32 or 33. I don't recall it was a while back. I think they ruled it a TKO do to strikes though right? Barnett was beating the shit out of Couture is all I really recall clearly.

Either way Chuck knocked Randy the fuck out cold :hurt: lol....

Same here. I can't stand Trigg at all. Don't get me wrong he is a pretty good fighter but he just annoys the hell out of me.

It was at UFC 36-Worlds Collide.

The main event was actually supposed to be Ortiz vs Belfort, but Ortiz went out due to a knee injury.

Anyways, a week or two later Barnett got the belt stripped from him due to a dirty steroid test.
