I came back to Seattle a week ago and have been hitting up all the stores in town picking up all the local shit I been missing out on, and there are 2 albums that standout to me so far of the ones I picked up.

1) Framework - This guy I had never heard of before, he's out of the Rainier Beach area. Damn I was impressed, Bean One did all of his beats, he has some really really good tracks, he rides those beats beautifully, this is immediately one of my 10 favorite local albums. Now nobody's been talking about him on this board, most of you probably won't pick it up but trust me it is serious heat.

I picked it up at Platinum Records at 12th & Pike just a few blocks from Broadway.

2) Boom Bap Project - Welcome to Seattle Mixtape
This album is banging as well, it is mostly freestyles with a few exclusives, but one of them makes it worth the money. Track 2 "Welcome to Seattle" is a raw city anthem over a sweet beat. I was very very impressed and I wasn't really a fan of them before.

I also picked up this album at Platinum Records.

PEOPLE NO NW RAP FAN SHOULD BE WITHOUT EITHER OF THESE ALBUMS, THEY'RE HOT (not as hot as Crytical but in my opinion about on the level of Twin G's shit).

That's really interesting One-Fifth. I can't even imagine how sick the Lac would be with that guy in there. He is an extremely talented artist.

It's also interesting that he fucks with you and your NW associates, it makes perfect sense....because as I was listening to him today I kind of thought he was like a mixture of 151 and Tha Loco with his delivery style. It all makes sense now.

About where to get the Frame album, I don't think you can get it online. The place I bought it from was Platinum Records on Capitol Hill (12th & Pike area), I think I grabbed like their 2nd to last copy. Damn I don't know what the deal is with it, why I haven't been seeing promotion and hearing more about it, I don't know, but what I do know is that this album is fuckin sick.

Yo...Frame's album is definetely sick..I like what my guy did wit his joint...Its one of the netter albums to come out in the NW..I think the reason it may not be gettin promoted is because I heard Frame was doin another bid...Thats classic niggas tryin to do right and come up..that system of keepin cats locked up when they tryin to do good..
