"Worship God in your own way"....I was done after that....And I'd put the blame on Capitalists and Protestants :) Not all of the Protestants, just most of them.

Hey man, if people want to believe in God, I have no problem with that, I do....I just don't feel like I need to push my morals on people. Communism as a whole is a garbage idea, but ofcourse every political idea has some good and bad in it. I'm not trying to insult people who like communism when I say this..just trying to discuss it.

Everything they experienced after tasting ISM is actually happening today. The question I have is do we blame communism or capitalism (international bankers and corporations?)
Capitalism is not a political ideology, it's an economic ideology. I don't feel I would have to defend it like how someone would have to defend being for communism. Anywhere communism has taken power, it has killed millions and millions of people. Communism has been responsible for more deaths than Hitler or Mussoulini. So why are people so quick to accept communism? Doesn't make sense to me.

Actually, you are incorrect in stating capitalism is not a political ideology. If it were not a political ideology you wouldn't have corporations funding elections and parties to the extent they do now. Also, if it is not a political ideology why are we even comparing it to communism (and why do some compare it to socialism?)

This is a cartoon by children, for children.

"Turn over my freedom, children's freedom, and my grandchildren's freedom"

I believe that is a textbook definition of communism.

Your ideation of socialism is based on miseducation lack of information. Western European countries, (and Canada) tend to be closest to socialism without being full-blown communist countries, and their people do quite well.

They actually do better than us in Life expectancy, literacy, and many other quality of life measures...and they undoubetdly operate in a more "free" environment than we do. Nearly every facet of American life has been monetized and stripped of neutrality or objectivity. We have, some would say, some of the largest 'conflicts of interest' in matters of civic and federal governance of any of the 1st world countries.

Yet we are spoon-fed the democracy and freedom mantra, and we believe we actually have both.
