LOS ANGELES, May 25 – 2004 US Olympic Gold Medalist Andre Ward, unbeaten as a pro at 3-0, will put his gold medal reputation on the line in a featured undercard bout on the June 18 mega-card at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee, which is headlined by the light heavyweight showdown between Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver.

Ward is a great young prospect to watch. He has the skills and confidence to be a contender in his division. I have his first 3 fights on tape and he did good in all of them. I saw him in a dogfight where his opponent was fouling him.. Ward kept his composure boxed and punished this kid with fast hands and feet. He also has good power and as he matures physically he will get alot stronger.
