Anaheim Angels to Change Name to Los Angeles Angels...

Word is that the Owner of the Angels wants to change the Anaheim in the Angels to Los Angeles to appease to a a Larger Market, and to Garner better name Recognition.

What are your thoughts?

People are going to be pissed off when they come to L.A. to see the Angels and then realize they have to drive an hour east to the stadium in Southern California traffic. Just keep it as Anaheim or change it to Orange County Angels since O.C. is somewhat popular. Or the Disney Angels.

What the hell man, I almost had a heart attack and sh.
I hope it doesnt happen. Anaheim wouldnt like it, and neither would LA.

They changed from the California Angels, to the Anaheim Angels, and that was alright...since they played in Anahiem anyways. But the stadium is not even in LA and the players all live in OC. If the name seriously got changed, I would be pissed off for a solid year, minimum.

This is all new to me.

But Anaheim smahsed Toronto today, 11-2...and Bengie Molina hit a grand slam.
