Oops! Apparently, the online retailer prematurely mailed copies of Wayne’s Rebirth. According to Birdman, the album was pushed back and scheduled to be released on February 1, 2010.

1. Universal shipped out copies to stores and retailers tell them to release on 12/21/09
2. They change their mind like always to 2/1/10
3a. Universal tells retailers to send it back and Amazon doesn’t get the memo
3b. Universal forgets to tell retailers to send it back (more likely because they drop the ball with everything else)

This is a major big fail from Amazon, because Rebirth is supposedly going to leak any minute and there is still a month and 18 days until the album hits the stores. For proof, check out some pictures below:

Looks like his shit will be dropping on 12/21/09 as acheduled bc they peoples with the actual disc is def gonna leak it. lol


Wayne probaly stressed the fuck out right now and he gonna have to record some new tracks if he still wants taht album to drop in feb

i vote publicity stunt....he's seein that a lot of dudes is startin to make a move that's actually dope and he gotta make sure Johnny Public is talkin bout him.....

Lil Wayne is like Freddy Krueger If everyone forgets about him, he might disappear.

this might help go ahead and keep the 21st or 22nd release date thatd be cool...
I actually like the rebirth wayne style and im sure his avid fans (girls & guys come on now ha) will still cop it whenever it releases. so itll still sell...

I like Wayne when he actually raps, like on the No Ceilings mixtape... but when he does that singing rock autotune bullshit it's hella wack

Yeah it leaked, and it is just awful. I just cannot stand his voice & the autotune bullshit plus the rock shit just doesn't mix. Wayne sucks. I dont know how anyone can like this.

Okay so I found a comment over at 2dopeboyz pretty much the sum of what i would say to haters about the album and my assessment of Wayne's creative attempt...

"For everyone who says it is “making there ears bleed:
How old are you? What are you comparing it to? What where you expecting? You do realize it is not rap, right?
I can assure you that this album will introduce the Rock/Alternative style of music to many people who have never thought to give it a listen.
Take it for what it is and be glad someone is trying to broaden your horizons."
