From a series of documentarys shown on BBC entitles "The Power Of Nightmares".

http://www.irintech.com/x1/blogarchive.php?id=1133

I found this funny:

"You have heard before that "Al-Qaeda" roughly translates into "the base," but were you aware that "Ana raicha Al Qaeda" is arabic colloquial for "I'm going to the toilet"?

Would hardened terrorists hell bent on the destruction of the west name their organization after a euphemism for taking a shit?"

How true that is, I have no clue...it cam efrom InfoWars, so who knows how credible that is.

it means "im going to the seat" which would represent the toilet when used like this

lol it is funny but the arabic language is very complex. Like there are seriously many workds that have over 10 meanings.

"Al-qaeda" could mean "the base" or "the seat', but arabs quickly pick up on the meaning thats meant.

it is funny tho, but the real funny part is alqaeda is only 1% of the real terrorism problem.
there are wayy to many corrupt sects in islam but i mean look at their country and way of life, i am not surprised at the hate they spew.

like theres a verse in the quran that states "allah ala al-arsh istawa" , istawa has many meanings including Resides.

the wahabies which include alqaeda took it in the meaning that God sits on the thrown, which invalidates other parts of the quran which say God doesnt resemble creations.

anyway i dont know why i got into this.

I mentioned in a thread last year that I had a client at the time that was Afgahni...he has been here since 15 and is now 25. He frequents Afghanistan every year, sometimes multipe trips. Anyhow, I asked him about Al-Qaeda and he looked at me like I was crazy. Appearntly, NO ONE there has HEARD of such a thing...

Hmmmm....

lol hmmm is right.
the only people makin alqaeda and all the terrorist groups much bigger than they could ever be are the american admintrations. hmm i wonder why they need to instill and ongoing and never ending fear on the people. Could it be to control them maybe?? thats right.

You know nothing, yet i still see you talk like you know something.

the wahabies which include alqaeda
When you say wahabi, im assuming salafi's. I'll break it down for you, former sufi, because apparently your are ignorant. The recent salafi scholars (bin baz, bin uthaymeen, al-albani) have called bin laden and his group apostates. Bin laden and his likes are known as the khawarij.

laysa ka mithleehee shay

I dont see how that invalidates anything. What you said is the sufi/ashari aqeeda and not that of ahl al sunnah (majority).

anyway i dont know why i got into this
Apparently you thought you knew something

dont forget to say Qeela or "someone said" before you read this.

listen man, you being a muslim is proof to me that YOU know nothing.
I dont need to listen to you, my dad is a respected shiekh, but our differing beliefs while we both claim to have been suni is exactly what i have been sayin about the corruption within islam and other religions.
tell me whats the chance of a nonmuslim to not only find islam, but to find YOUR sect.
its funny that you corrected me by naming even more sects that exist in islam.
of course you blamem the blasphemers for this, but you dont see what this and many other complications do to the innocent nonbelievers that only want to find truth and abide by it.
too bad they will never have a chance again when they die innocent, but "deadly".
what if my dad captured him first and taught him all these "blasphemous" stuff? Why does this man according to your beliefs, still deserve an eternal torture for his 50 years on this hell on earth.
sounds like a tyrant god to me.

what i really find funny is that once i began to post about the corruption of islam, you disappeared. I guess you really were here this whole time, but hidden. is there a reason for that?

the last we left off is me telling you that Islam doesnt allow one to befriend, like, or love a non-muslim.
you said that was crazy, and i said a verse in the quran says "allahuma la youhibu al kafiroon" (God Doesnt like the blasphemers), and you simply never replied.

i would love it if you hung around and continued to debate me about islam because it will only bring hope to you that you will be saved from this animalistic primitive dogma and lifestyle that you live.

Of course there are lots of beautiful things about and in islam, but just as islam teaches, its one whole belief. So to throw one thing out of the quran, you throw it all out.

EDIT: also, you stated that they were actually salafis, but from what i was taught many times, they CALL themsevles salafis, but their followings are of bin abdulwahhab. So we call them wahabies. They dont like being called that btw, so dont continue to be fooled by them callin themselves salafis, although to you it doesnt matter, they are all kafirs and deserve eternal punishment.
