anyone like or know about this guy femi kuti? i saw some documentary about him about a month ago and i really like him. i guess his dad fela kuti is some type of a legend in africa and considered the king of afro beat music. just wondering if ppl already knew of him or his father or even listen to afro beat? (cause i never did till i saw that documentary)

fela is hella famous throughout the world cause of his activism. fela and femi are nigerian. there's some opinions fela had that i don't agree with but he made lotta good music. nigeria has lots of music from fuji to juju.

yeah for as long as theyve been around, its a shame i just now found about them. from what ive heard though, i like femi's music better than his dad's

Fela Kuti was a political activist, there was a lot more to him than just his music. He was also a notorious womanizer, I think he had several wives. I read some stuff about him a long time ago, it was pretty interesting. Hes worth looking up...
