wassup siccnes my name is sam malki im from berkeley, ca. i been on the siccness for a few years and i have had a lot of laughs/gained a lot of knowledge here. me being who i am i dont fit into the category of who yall would listen to as far as bay area music but at the same time i got some talent and i feel i can go somewhere with my music. so i figure its time to turn to the siccness on top of every other website i can think of to let people hear my music say what they think. i dont know who checks this website maybe someone on here can give me some help. I would like to post up my music and let you guys download my demo, watch my video and just see what you like about my music and what you dont like. feel free to say what you want i mean i know i might get roasted off the site this is chance im willing to take but it is what it is. i dont claim to be a superstar or have a million features its just me trying to rap/produce myself. i been at it for a few years now i feel like im gettin there but i defiently need a lot of work. anybody up here with connections or someone that knows someone please get in touch with me through my PM. I feel like the next step for me is finding a mentor or someone that can help me really produce my music and take it to the next level and i know its some real people behind those screen names this website is poppin.

I really would like for you to check out my song "you cant live twice" thats my shit right there. i poured my heart into that shit right there. i shot a lil low budget video for it and shit but i definetly want to get that out there and heard by the right people.

so i guess its time to hit yall with the stuff i hope you guys enjoy and take it for what it is.

by the way everything is done on my own graphics/myspace all that shit i aint got no label, no money, nothing keep that in mind. all i got is my music and my copyright.

My myspace is:

That song in the video is pretty tight. I would stick with that producer and do an album. You can build some continuity in your music that way. I liked your rhymes. You may want to think about layering your voice to make it sound a little stronger. Overall though I'm not gonna lie, I was actually pretty impressed. Good luck to you and let me know when you come out with an album. Ill be DLing your demo.

I think your beat on your single is hella nice, you've got crossover hit potential with your beats for sure. Wasn't feeling the vocals quite as much, but get some other folks spitting and singing on your album it could for sure make some noise IMO. I like how it blends several genres in there.... good work.

thanks for the feedback thats why i put my songs up here.

what i really need is professional recording/mixing and a real producer who knows how to make a hit and put an artist out there... the sound quality for my stuff right now is definetly not professional and i realize this i need that cristal clear sound. but yeah i definetly gotta hook up with someone in the game before i can take my shit anywhere noticable.

^right on blood

what i meant tho was not a producer as someone who can make my beats cuz i can do that already. just someone who can oversee the whole process of my music and make sure its got that sound people are looking for.

I watched the video. Ilike the beat, the video and concept of the song. You might wanna tighten up those vocals a bit. They seem kinda all over the place and thos ad libs echoing everything got annoying fast. Seemed too hectic.

Overall it wass cool though. Just try to find the pocket a little more with them vocals and pick and choose you ad libs, make them count.

Thats my opinion

Yeah other than too much on the overdubs it was a pretty clean song. Seemed on point with the vibe of the beat. Great job with the track tho real saucy beat keep at it man
