So all the 9ers fans who yall want us to pick up with the #6 pick? At first I was hopin we would get Mario Williams or AJ Hawk but now I think I jumped on the Vernon Davis bandwagon. At first I was hopin to god the 9ers didn't pick him with the 6th pick but as time has gone on I think I'll be upset if we don't draft him. At first I was hatin on him a lil sayin he could end up like Ricky Dudley but that's just me thinkin negative. So anyhow yeah I definately hope we get VD. Who are the rest of you hopin to see?

I'd much rather have Williams, Huff, or especially Hawk.. but most analysts are saying Williams and Hawk will go in the first 4 picks and I doubt they will draft Huff over Vernon Davis. He'd be my 4th choice out of the 4 that I just mentioned, but a great pickup regardless.

i wouldnt mind having Vernon Davis and Eric Johnson as our 2 TEs, i think that would be good, especially since this is a deep draft in LBs, to be honest id like to see VD @ #6, then Sinorice Moss in the 2nd round........

yea, but on most mock boards they got moss goin @ 32 with steelers, but rooney said he wants a big WR, so if hes around in the 2nd, we needa take him

Keepin' things on the real... the Niners have been blowing it on their first round picks lately.... Kwame Harris, Alex Smith, Woods, Rumph have been picked in the first round (I think) and all of them have not lived up to their expectations. Maybe they weren't first round talent.

In my opinion the Niners should draft the best offensive weapon available be it a wide receiver. Vernon Davis might be a good pick. Alex Smith needs help. Larry Allen was just signed to give him protection... so get him a receiving threat. We'll see what happens. It would be hard to pass up Mario Williams if he was available but the Niners need a receiver.
