Personally I don’t see any reason why we need to have a new 7 wonders.

Shit... perhaps I don't understand what a "wonder of the world" is. I never wonder about the statue of liberty or the Sydney Opera House, for example. Though I definitely wonder about the Giza Pyramids, as there remains some mystery and controversy concerning their origin and construction.

Also, why is 7 some special number to which we must adhere?
