No offense, but the 206 has way more tight artists...I'm not taking anything away from the tight artists in the 509, but there are more in the 206....but the double disc would be tight.

Ummm ya'll who are underestimating that 509 work, be aware, WE ARE on a rise, we just haven't really had any "real" talent outa here in a while. Every area has its ERA for movents and the 509's is coming real quick, I promise that. lol I think that the 509 needs to do another compilation, kinda like OVERDOSE's idea. Okay really need to know if someone would be interested in putting together a REAL 509 compilation. I have asked about it before but everyone seemed to have fell asleep on the idea. That might have been my fault for not pushing the issue but who knows. Let's do it if your down, I just gotta know. Hit me on my pm so we can ALL (509) have a part in this. ya knoooow...

The 509 don't need the 206 to sell records. Most of the artists in the 206 cant even sell records in the 206. Why would artists from the 509 wanna try and sell records in Seattle when alot of artists aren't moving units in theyre own back yard. There are exceptions like, Funk and his camp, and The No Good Therapy camp. From what I read here and at the Siccness, Street Level moves some units, but besides from these boards, I ain't ever heard anyone in the town talk about SLR. I'm not talking bad about the artists from the 206, I'm just pointing out some facts. The 509 stands on it's own when it comes to this rap shit. We don't need Seattle to sell records. We've moved a few thousand units and I probably never even sold an album to anyone from the 206, but I was still able to pop off my units. I see more and more artists from the 206 out this way pushing theyre units cuz they know they can move em out here. A 206 vs. 509 comp would be a move in the wrong direction. We trying to put the whole state on the map, We're from the 509 but thats not who we are, mentiendes?

lol. i like your lil comment about needing the 206 to "help" blow up. Man out here in the 509 we put in work we dont use other cities to blow up. I got respect for cats in the 206 dont get me wrong, but that is some bullshit.

@ Blaise, what up pimp? We been in the studio, working hard. We just got out the studio with Gemini, who just signed to Universal. The album is coming along real nice. We trying to put it together just right. We're trying for one more feature and that'll probably be it for features. I'll let you know who it is when it goes down. So far the album features Baby Bash, JayTee, Gemini, Lucky Luciano, Grimm and some production from the Playboy Foundation. How about you what you been up to?

@ Red Door, Who were you talking too?

damn. i was talkin about doin this just for fun, but seems like everyone thought i meant for album sales for a 206 or a 509. both 509 and 206 are both NW and that's all that really should matter. who gives a fuck what the South got to say about us(dont get it twisted, i bump a lot of Southern artists, im just sayin). we do our thang and they do their thang. it's all good though.
